This DMCA Notice and Takedown Policy outlines the procedures for reporting and addressing alleged copyright infringement on our website.
Procedure for Reporting Alleged Copyright Infringement
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide the following information to our designated agent:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL or other location where the material is located
- A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Procedure for Takedown
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. We will also notify the user who posted the material that we have received a DMCA notice and that we have removed or disabled access to the material.
Counter-Notification
If the user who posted the material believes that the removal or disabling of access to the material was in error, they may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent. The counter-notification must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the user who posted the material
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled
- A statement that the user believes in good faith that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification
- A statement that the user consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the user’s address is located (or if the user’s address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which [Your Website Name] may be found) and that the user will accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA notice
